  • Leading a global CTRS Sales and Markting team
  • Initiating activities to fulfill the CTRS budget and strategic targets
  • Creating the yearly sales budget and strategic planning according to the CTRS target setting
  • Defining together with the regional responsibles the right strategic sales partners in the aftermarket business
  • Analysing market, customer and competitor developments to define CTRS strategic sales orientation
  • Ensuring market intelligence
  • Securing respective resource and competence development in all responsible functions
  • Securing a global sales network to ensure information and experience exchange
  • Ensuring and adjusting a reasonable global competence matrix
  • Participation within the "CTRS Bidding Team" to steer customer projects
  • Ensuring and negotiation of "General Terms and conditions" in frame contracts with global Key Accounts
  • Ensuring CTRS sales and marketing behaviours according to Continental rules and regulations
  • Participating in international cross BU activities to ensure divisional and regional orientation
  • Defining global Marketing and communicative activities
  • Securing and adjusting regional and global sales process standards


  • Academic degree in engineering, economic sciences or similar skills
  • Several years of professional experience in sales or export business and technical interest
  • Several years of experience in leading a team
  • Experience in management and leadership of larger project teams in a global environment
  • Business fluent German and English language skills written and spoken
  • High degree of customer orientation, integrity, commitment and resilience
  • Very good communication skills 
  • Intercultural skills competency
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 30%)
