Key Account Manager, Media Solutions (m/w/d)

- Develop and maximise the sales of Sony’s Professional Media Products and Solutions portfolio through both Channel Partners and Key Customer
- New customer acquisition in the media and broadcast market
- Manage Key Customers relationships at a senior level to develop opportunities for Sony Media Solutions in the local market.
- Country wise RTM strategy development and implementation in line with the Sales and Marketing plan for the business.
- Implement the Media Solutions Sales strategy ensuring the achievement of key strategic goals and sales targets
- Develop and qualify ‘Solutions’ opportunities, working closely with the Solution Marketing and Delivery teams.
- Bring strongly qualified leads to the Solution pool and support the expansion of solution selling as a top priority
- Contribute to develop and implement a profitable sales and marketing strategy for Sony’s Broadcast business in the country and maintain Sony as a key player in this industry.
- Implementing the European sales strategy for Media Solutions.
- Develop sales to achieve quantitative and qualitative targets.
- Ensure that all marketing plans are clearly communicated to the customer.
- Provide customer feedback into the organisation in an organised manner
- Support the sales manager in defining the midrange (1-3 years) performance outlook
- Develop relationship with key end-user influencers and consultants in the Media Solutions market to maximize sales.
- Understand and keep updated with the relevant Sony product/solutions offerings.
- Negotiate contractual and commercial terms & conditions.
- Support local and international events/tradeshows
- Qualifying bids and quotes request and clearly communicating this to marketing.
- Willingness to travel
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Relevant university education preferably in Business and/or Engineering or relevant secondary education
- Experience and knowledge in the German Media and Broadcast industry
- Consultative selling experience
- Preferred experience in IT solution, hardware and projects
- Channel Planning and Sales experience
- Fluent in German and English verbally & written.
- Proven success of delivering sustained incremental sales and profit for a sales organisation.
- Minimum 5 years Key Account & Channel management experience in the Media/Broadcast or High-Tech industry
