PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Head of Sales HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) Germany (Services Sales Senior Manager) for SAP HEC will lead a team of Services Sales Managers in Germany who lead dedicated SSEM's whose purpose is to integrate with the local services sales team focusing on selling SAP HEC in Germany. This individual would help the Services Sales Managers and their SSEMs to identify and develop HEC projects, conduct and manage effective sales cycle and establish and ensure customer satisfaction through strong execution presence and integration directly with customers. He or she would drive team targets and live integrated relationships with Services and License groups.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Responsible for executing and driving growth against set targets
  • Drive Pipeline and Demand Generation
  • Ability to develop the big pictures to serve the customers’ strategic objectives
  • Strong skills in talking about and developing use cases on Digital Transformation
  • Coach managers inleading their teams and developing the opportunities, empower accountability, develop and manage employees' growth and skill sets
  • Be a Trusted Advisor and «Talk to Business»
  • Deal with LOB, Executive level stakeholders/ buying centers internally and externally
  • Establish and maintain powerful long-term relationships
  • Manage escalations effectively
  • Facilitate alignment between services and license for effective Account Planning and Strategy
  • Effective management of the relevant partners
  • Tight liaison within Services and License organizations
  • Financial management reporting based on forecast and budgeting
  • Enforce strategic selling across own unit

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • University degree required
  • Fluent both Business English and German MANDATORY
  • Experience in customer interaction, including managing and solving conflicts
  • Experience in decision making within own area of responsibility

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in licence and services sales (5+ years)
  • Sales leadership experience (3+ years)
  • Experience in leading teams (direct reports)
  • Intense knowledge of software license business
  • Cloud or hosting sales experience
  • Ability to navigate large, matrixed organizations
