Create end-user pull for the surgical/diagnostic imaging product range within the DACH hospital market.

  • Responsible for the development of the Surgical/Diagnostic Imaging business (Nexxis  and surgical displays, diagnostic displays) in the DACH region. This by developing and educating end-users
  • Meet and exceed Profit Plan targets for the DACH territory. Create and execute the strategic plan for the DACH region
  • Evangelize and hunt for new SI/DI business at the end-user (hospital) side. Engage with the broader ecosystem (architects, equipment planners, etc,…) to grow the business. Perform value selling for the Barco Healthcare products; this includes delivering presentations to audiences of one or many, prospecting, promoting, and carrying out demonstrations.
  • Become the face of Barco to the end-user community in line with the B2B strategy
  • Develop programs for increasing sales. Organize regional sales activities such as events for equipment planners and architects
  • Escalate business critical issues to senior management, propose action plans and organize execution follow-up with the assigned responsibilities
  • Work closely together with the DACH sales colleagues to share information and to develop opportunities for the complete Barco healthcare portfolio
  • Manage sales funnels, opportunity tracking, quotation generation and follow-up, in a very structured and timely manner
  • Work in close collaboration with the EMEA surgical key account management team and strategic marketing/product management teams



  • Bachelor or Master degree (preferred) in business, marketing, engineering or related field


  • German, English


  • >3 years of experience in the Surgical/diagnostic business
  • Understanding of workflow and integration
  • Experienced in performing clinical and technical demonstrations

  • Problem solving and planning skills
  • Strong commercial and communication skills
  • Willing to travel within the DACH region up to 75% of the time
