The KUKA Industrie 4.0 team is an entrepreneurial think-tank with the aim to develop value-added networks. We consider IoT solutions and Smart Production as stepping stones to Industrie 4.0, that will permeate every aspect of the future Factory - such as maintenance, service, intelligent logistics. By coupling technology advancements in the fields of data analytics and machine learning with funded automation knowledge, Industrie 4.0 unlocks the full potential of new business values. In order to creating the biggest benefit for our customers, we are collaborating with partners through a setup of diverse Ecosystems – hence, we combine the strengths of the shopfloor domain know-how, innovative startups and IT companies.


  • Active involvement in specific client conversations to seed I4.0 conversations with client
  • Sales and account management methodology support to scan industries for right clients for I4.0
  • Driving generation of new business models in units and alignment across KUKA
  • Market scanning for competition and strategic go-to-market Partners
  • Creation of industry-specific value propositions
  • “Evangelization” of the KUKA Group Industrie 4.0 in external Forums
  • Ability to incorporate S/W sales practices and approach for I4.0 client conversations


  • Degree in Engineering or Business Administration and at least 7 years of experience in Business development,
  • Hands-on knowledge of software sales
  • Ability to build trusting network and excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proven track record to lead interdisciplinary initiatives and solid project management skills
  • Experience in definition and execution of new business models is a plusHigh self-motivation and target orientation combined with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to coordinate and motivate interdisciplinary teams in a rapidly changing, dynamic organization
  • Account management and sales conversation skills are a must
  • Fluent English and German
