The Channel Sales Manager functionally leads a sales force of approximately 5-6 representatives and reports to the Senior Management. He/she is responsible for executing the Channel business plan by deriving action plans. He/she holds accountability for achieving financial targets, increasing the market share in the market and ensures performance metrics are met in daily execution.

We are looking for a highly dynamic individual with strong relationship and communication skills. The Channel Sales Manager position will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies for a successful business with Lenovo's managed resellers in Germany. In addition to people management responsibilities, the person owing this position will have responsibility for their department’s resources, short-term planning, and budget. The position requires:

  • conducting deep analysis in identifying complex problems: generate and coordinate solutions with other functions or team members to solve complex problems
  • people management responsibilities, including KPI/objective setting, coaching, performance feedback & assessment
  • close cooperation with EMEA & regional management team
  • highly efficient Networking Skills
  • managing external stakeholders

Position Requirements

The successful candidate will have 5-7 years proven track record in strategic selling, strong interpersonal and communication skills, leadership and the entrepreneurial approach that is imaginative, smart, passionate and approachable. This includes:

  • ability to lead, manage and coach people
  • adapt communications and approaches to drive negotiations with various partners to conclusion, resulting in common agreements. Maintain and cultivate senior executive relationships
  • channel experience, ideally proven established network in business partner landscape in Germany
  • demonstrate expertise in building customers relationships, which promote and enable a deep understanding the Reseller business goals and objectives
  • minimum of 3-5 years channel sales experience
  • high comfort-level working in a global, diverse environment
  • fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
